All one needs to be to have morals and behave ethically, is to be a decent human being.

    • Indeed, even atheists and nihilists can do so.

  1. it did not surprised me!

    • There are some facts in that which are ‘questionable’ like the prison stat. Many may become religious in prison and the census for that data is questionable but the end result is that there are very few atheists in prison – an effect of having a captive population to ‘witness’ to… and that despite the violence, rape, and general brutal nature of prison life. I think that says more than the numbers. Almost all of them believe in god and are religious yet their society is one of the most brutal and violent. These seem to go hand in hand with monotheism. I think that is the most interesting thing.
