Three Sides, One Coin

Just this thought

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the militaryindustrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

—–  Dwight D. Eisenhower

On the one side is religion, on the other is patriotism, and on the inside is corporatism. Remove any leg and the tripod of fascism falls on its head. Corporations are the machines of a nation. When the machines begin to speak for themselves it is incumbent upon all patriots to become saboteurs.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Thomas Jefferson

You can vote for a corporation supporter or a community organizer. You can also vote for a religious nut job or the sitting president. You can vote how you want. Just know what you’re voting for.

  1. How can we know these days when it is almost fashionable for politicians to make promises then break those promises. Are they of the type to raise a finger to the wind then carry out the office based on the results? Remember, I think it was, Mondale, who promised truthfully that he would raise taxes?

    • It is unfortunate that it is difficult to tell. Perhaps some of us simply pick one bad aspect and vote against that candidate… eliminate the worse of two evils?
