The Church Is Offended and the Pussy Riot Trial Continues

The Church Is Offended and the Pussy Riot Trial Continues.
Why don’t these religious nutsacks let their god dole out what punishment is necessary for offending him? Why does their god need their help in punishing three young women? Is their god not powerful enough? Apparently he can cause storms, earthquakes and all manner of destruction. Why not let him take care of these three.

And if their god leaves these three unpunished, does that mean he approves of their music and antics? These believers must be afraid their god will approve. Yes, that’s it. Surely they don’t think their god is unable to punish them without their help… do they?

Religion of any kind is a dangerous and stupid idea. When you follow it, fall for it, support it… well then, you have become stupid and dangerous, to yourself and others.

“Religion of any kind is a dangerous and stupid idea. When you follow it, fall for it, support it… well then, you have become stupid and dangerous, to yourself and others.”

    Seriously overgeneralising here.

And what this trial is about is power, in the case of the Church masked as religion.

  1. But isn’t that what the church has always been about, power? Religion is just a tool, or tool box. Power was always the plan, at least in monotheistic religions. Prey on the superstitious, feed their need, reap the benefits, hence my comments.

      “at least in monotheistic religions”

      Voilà.
