  1. Hahahaha! Love it!
“Then you have to reserve the right….”

    • Oswald is awesome!

  2. “That’s fucking stupid, are you kidding me!?” Bullying people to your way of thinking, is not the way of reason.

I guess we can just agree to disagree on that.

    • Actually it’s a bullying attitude to force people to be nice to you no matter what stupidity comes out of your head.

    Off topic alert:

Have arrived here via John Zande’s blog and your interaction with him. Not having an email address here, I am inquiring if you could direct me to your past post(s?) about China’s ‘tank man’?

As far as how could the story of Jesus develop so quickly if not true, I counter with Haile Sallassie.

Will also browse around a bit. I am a fellow skeptic but without a blog.

    • The tank man is not something that I remember doing a post on, but an example of how a truth can be made untruth in just one or two generations. Purging of undesirable information helps it to happen and when the empire declared Christianity as a religion this is what happened. There were two efforts to make truth out of rumor – first by early believers who simply wanted to believe and second by Rome who needed a religion.

I do not understand how you are using a reference to Haile Sallassie.

Oh, thought you knew about Sallassie. The rastafarians made a deity out of him IN HIS OWN LIFETIME without any seeking or pretense of such on his part. Hows that for rapid development of legend (to counter apologetic argument time between alleged existence of Jesus and formation of gospels was too short for legendary accretion)?

    • oh crap, I missed that aspect… nicely done. A fine example I shall brush up on to use later. Thanks
